Metawin S Strange Pet Shop Bw

I've always wanted to have a pet but never thought it would be a bunny.

In fact, I prefer cats. They're soft and sweet, and are great companions for someone who likes to stay at home and cuddle - like me.

Bunnies are also cute, but they're a lot to deal with. Complicated diet. Extra care needed. Extremely vulnerable. They can die just by having a heart attack if they're too scared. Not to mention their bad habits of chewing everything in the house.

But then, I guess not all of them.

"Hi baby I'm homee~"

Replying to me is the sound of thumbs and a white shadow appears at the front door in no time. Whenever I'm home, Bunny will run to the front door to welcome me.

This is my new daily routine now. Wake up a bit earlier just because I know he loves to cuddle. Try to come home as fast as possible because I know he's at home waiting for me. I also visit the pet shop here and there to pick up Bunny's stuff, staying around a bit longer while chatting with First as he checks out for me. And then I can spend the rest of the night with Bunny's company.

"Hi baby, how was your day?" Bunny hops on the couch to my lap when I sit down, then quickly climbs up my chest for a soft nose touch. I give him our Eskimo kiss in return. "Oh haha, you seem happy today." I laugh and stroke his soft fur.

I always love to have some moment of silence, just having him by my side, like now. He's not purring like cats but still giving me the comfort I've always wanted.

Occasionally, when I tell him stories about my day or some random stories I think of, I find him slightly moving his ear as replies. Sometimes I wonder if he has something to tell me about his good day. Or how good his appetite is. Or maybe how many cables that he opts to not chew them for me. I can't help but imagine Bunny as a real person, a friend, someone who will always be there for me.

Someone makes me feel like I'm no longer all by myself.

"Lunch ba- oh here you are." I have just finished putting his food in the bowl and call him out for lunch, but when I turn around, the white fluffy ball is already there.

I move a bit to give him some space and, of course, he waits no time to dig in.

"Easy boy," I chuckle, "Your food won't disappear into thin air you know."

Although I do struggle with his diet, it's not because of its complicated nature as other bunny's caretakers faces. He honestly eats everything I give him (though I follow the sugar rules, I don't wanna risk him with tons of sugar). But I noticed if he ever hated any food I gave, he would slightly shake his ears while having a bit longer pause of chewing. If he loves something, he would rather chew and swallow that thing in a split second. But other than that, he's never left food untouched. It makes me feel like he somehow cares about my feelings too. Those food packages are expensive as hell.

Apart from his high demand for cuddles, plus the strange behavior of opening all drawers in my bedroom, and high consumption in food and treats, which are all affordable and acceptable for me, Bunny is a great companion.

I sometimes actually think that I could live a life like this forever.

With Bunny by my side, of course.
